Wizbang!

According to its 'About' section Wizbang! is a unique mix of news, politics, and entertainment... and is one of 'the most popular conservative weblogs on the Internet. Since its founding in April 2003, and has over 5 million unique visitors. Don't ask me to explain Wizbang's rise in popularity, but I imagine it's a function of topicality, humor, and insight.'

The blog is owned by Kevin Aylward, who I believe lives in Massachusetts. [Correction: Virginia]. In 2004 he invited guest bloggers, including New Hampshirite Jay Tea to join his team.

Jay is a popular and prolific writer. He must have a high level of blogger prestige, as it appears countless other blogs slam him personally, waiting with bated (or it is baited) breath hoping he will personally reply on their blog, or better yet mention their names on Wizbang.

If you'd like to raise your blood pressure, or simply read provative commentary, this is the blog to visit.

Todd Bonita of Todd Bonita's Blog lives in Greenland New Hampshire. A talented 37 year old artist, he creates drawings, paintings, sculpture, illustrations, and more. The blog, started in October of 2005 highlights his work.

Deertown Times

EPM, an old timer of blogging (since October 2004), lives in "Deertown" a fictional location in the eastern Monadnock region of New Hampshire (somewhere near Milford I suspect).

Straight shooting, no holds barred, in-your-face honest commentary on local to national topics.

The Pop Diner, at the Nashua Telegraph defines itself as "a popular culture, stream-of-Tivo-consciousness commentary by the Features desk."

A brand new blog, starting May 4, 2006, posters include JenO (Jennifer O'Callaghan), Deidre, and MartyK (Martin Karlon).

They are seeking your thoughts and opinions on the latest movies, television shows, music and more (like the non-Nambian name of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's new baby).

If you watch too much television (and I know YOU do), this blog is definitely worth a visit.

Granite State Pundit

Dan Pierce, a 20 year veteran of the broadcasting industry hosts Granite State Pundit, and has done so since October 2004.

He has worked as a radio talk show host, radio reporter, TV reporter, disc jockey, radio Program Director, radio News Director and more. He has covered numerous elections, interviewed two Presidents (Clinton and G.W. Bush) and numerous presidential wannabes.

Dan covers just about every possible topic in the news, local to international. He performs his background research well, and provides information to help us form our own opinions about our state's and nation's burning issues.

Keep New Hampshire Blue

Keep New Hampshire Blue is really the new blog arm of the New Hampshire Democratic Party web site. The blog is brand spanking new, having been created in April of 2006.

Topics so far include a schedule of events of interest to the Democratic Party in New Hampshire, along with articles such as "Social Event Ideas."

As of this writing (May 29, 2006) there have been no May posts, but I expect as the presidential political season starts to heat up (any time now) this blog should become busier.
